Although the fresh meat we use in our recipes isn't lower in quality than human grade food, we can't call it human grade. We lose this certification the moment any meat leaves the human food chain, despite the quality.

Some of the raw materials we use are approved for human consumption (and our founders often taste test our food). But because they're put into a pet food bag, tin, or tray they're no longer considered suitable for human consumption.
